These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through the East Kent Kitesurfing Club (“EKKC”, “we”, “us”, “our”) website ekkc.org. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Products
We currently sell club merchandise such as calendars and other products produced through third-party print-on-demand suppliers. Images, descriptions, and availability are provided in good faith but may vary slightly from the final product.
2. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase via our secure payment processor.
- Any donation or profit element from a product goes directly towards supporting the club’s activities.
3. Orders & Delivery
- Orders are processed via print-on-demand suppliers. As such, delivery times may vary and can be longer than standard retail.
- International shipping is available, but delivery times may be extended.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or our print-on-demand partners.
4. Cancellations (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
- Under UK law, customers usually have the right to cancel online purchases within 14 days.
- Because our products are made to order (print-on-demand), this right only applies if production has not yet begun.
- Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.
5. Refunds & Returns
As a non-profit community organisation using print-on-demand production, we do not provide refunds or returns, except at our discretion in the case of faulty or damaged items.
If you believe your product is faulty or damaged, you must provide:
- Your full name, address, email, and phone number.
- Transaction ID / order confirmation.
- Clear photographs of the product and damage.
- Batch codes (if available).
We may request that the product be returned to us before any refund is processed.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- We will not refund shipping charges from the original order.
- Any refund provided will cover only the donation/profit element of the product price, not production costs.
Refunds are granted entirely at the discretion of EKKC.
6. Liability
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your purchase.
- Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
