East Kent Kite Spots
Location
We are based down on the East Kent coast and are very lucky to have a peninsula which gets wind in each direction 270 days of the year. Winter the northerly winds are clean and cold, perfect for big boosting sessions with amazing sunset. Summer winds can be warm but often gusty, still the temperature is so warm that you can ride bare foot and have fantastic sunrises. North Shore
East Kent North Shore spots extend from Whitstable to Botany Bay and include Margate, Westgate, Westbrook, Tankerton. They are the best place to surf on northerly winds as well as some west and easterly winds. Typically locals find themselves surfing there during the winter months.
East Shore
East Kent East Shore spots cover range from Ramsgate to Deal and include; Ramsgate, Pegwell, Western Undercliffe, Sandwich, Deal, St Magarets, Dover and even Broadstairs & Joss Bay. These spots are typically kited on during the summer months where we get the most southerly winds.
